The oak material also insulates the whiskey from the heat of your hand, helping to keep the drink nice and cold when ice cubes are added.
Crafted from solid oak to reflect the traditional way whiskey is stored in oak barrels, which enhances the flavor of the whiskey, this shatter-proof tumbler can be personalized with a message of your choice or simply the recipient's initials. Each tumbler is hand-finished and sealed with grain-enhancing protective beeswax and mineral oil, ensuring both the appearance and durability of the product.
To help protect and seal the tumbler, we recommend applying the included 15ml tin of honey beeswax oil paste regularly after every use. Simply rub the beeswax onto the tumbler, working the wax into the grain, and then wipe off any excess with a clean, dry cloth, buffing it dry.
Please note that this tumbler is not dishwasher safe and should be quickly rinsed in cold water if required, then wiped dry immediately. Applying our mineral oil beeswax regularly will help maintain the tumbler's appearance and durability over time.
